This project reimagines mythology to explore the struggle for abortion rights. Inspired by sirens—who lured men to their doom—I found a symbolic parallel in the fight for bodily autonomy. A rock resembling a uterus became central to the concept, representing the natural power of female reproduction. Just as men sought to control sirens, the debate over reproductive rights reflects attempts to control women’s bodies. By blending the imagery of sirens and the uterus, this project critiques patriarchal control and celebrates the inherent strength in women’s right to choose.
